One of the easiest switches I made was switching from dryer sheets to wool dryer balls.
Dryer sheets are full of some not-so-good stuff that is getting tossed around in the dryer with your clothes, towels, sheets and then sits on your skin all day, err day! Yuck! 🤢
I needed to find an alternative to our dryer sheets because this mama loves fresh smelling clothes & linens!! Don’t y’all?
This is where wool dryer balls come in. I add essential oils to them before I throw them in the dryer & the clothes and linens come out smelling AH-MAZING!
They help control static.
I use them over and over again, so in turn saving us money.
They’ve also cut down on my drying time, so we are saving money there too!!
Tip: I was adding a drop or two of the essential oil (Lavender has been my fav lately!) to each dryer ball, but noticed I was going through the bottle really fast. So, I made up a Dryer Ball Spray.
Directions to make your own Dryer Ball Spray:
2oz glass spray bottle (I use these here
about 20-30 drops of the essential oil of your choice
1Tbsp witch hazel
Add the essential oils in first, then about a tablespoon of witch hazel(non-scented), and fill the rest of the bottle with water.
The witch hazel helps the essential oils to disperse throughout the water.
